Adam White

Adam has been involved in city parks and the Kirkland community for over a decade. Appointed to the Kirkland Park Board in 2008 after working on several local community initiatives, Adam served as both the vice chair and then chair of the Park Board. Following his years of service with the Park Board, he joined the Human Services Commission to help address issues involving homelessness, mental health, and inclusion within Kirkland. After his time on the Human Services Commission, Adam focused on raising his newly adopted daughter. He is an elementary school teacher and during his free time enjoys hiking with his family and running with his dogs.

Kirkland Community Foundation has long served as the hub for successful projects inititated by members of our community, including the Save Our Salmon mural and the Waverly Beach Picnic Shelter. Have an idea for a project? Please complete this form as an initial step in the process, and we'll be in touch!
