
Kirkland became Nancy’s home in 1965 & she and her husband Dick raised 4 kids on the shores of Lake Washington.
She taught pre & elementary school, joined PTSA & served on the Lake Washington School Board. As a psychologist she counseled at YES then directed the Washington Council for Prevention of Child Abuse.
As a sports enthusiast, she’s hiked and skied the mountains of Washington, as well as swimming, surfing and rowing its waters. She coached & played soccer competitively for over 25 years.
She and her husband spent fifteen years recreating in the exquisite nature of the Methow Valley, also serving on Recycling, Classical Music Festival & Conservancy Boards.
They are now retired in Kirkland and committed to extolling its virtues of geography, parks, statues, schools, and community & encouraging others to consider it as a great place to live and raise families.
